3rd April 2007 For the last 15 years I have had the privilege to be TD representing the people of Dublin South.  Even after all that time I still feel like a punter who got elected.  I had no entitlement to it; by family or otherwise.

2nd February 2007 It’s a pleasure to be in Limerick , where I grew up and was educated.  Here in University of Limerick – a centre of excellence in education and renowned naturally and internationally.

30th January 2007 I am delighted to attend this event. Ireland?s bilateral relationship with India is already very good with warm, long-standing political links dating back to pre-Independence days in India and formal diplomatic ties between the two Governments since 1949.

2nd November 2006 Ceann Comhairle I welcome an opportunity to make some remarks on the occasion of the publication of this White Paper devoted entirely to Ireland ?s Overseas Aid Policy.

20th October 2006 Deputy Liz O'Donnell looked forward to the development of a truly dynamic all island economy, "blurring the border and barriers which have divided our people for too long". She also called for the extension of the Business Expansion Scheme, which is due to expire at the end of the year. She was speaking to the Network Ireland Conference in Galway, which was opened by President Mary McAleese. She was speaking to the theme of 'Defining Success: How do we know when we've made it?'.

12th October 2006 Deputy O'Donnell said: Thank you ladies and gentlemen, and to EIQA for inviting me to the National Quality and Excellence Awards. Mary Harney sends her warm regards to you all; I know she is a long-time supporter of the organisation. It's quite daunting to address those driving and delivering excellence across so many sectors in Irish life. There are a lot of perfectionists in this room!
